Contrary to what you may have heard or believe, the fact is: NO Good Deed goes Unrewarded. Or better said, every good deed gets rewarded.
When you do a good deed, doesn’t that make you feel good, if not amazing, inside?
I cannot recall doing one good deed and not feeling fuzzy and warm inside.
What if you do a good deed to a person or animal or charity and Not One Single person is around to witness it? Does that diminish from the great feelings you have created for yourself?
What if your good deed elicited a response you were not expecting, even a negative one? When I walk back and forth to the surgical center, I carry and hand out beef jerky sticks to the homeless. On very rare occasions, the person I hand it to throws it back at me. I still feel good inside because my goal was noble, and it was worthy of my efforts. It did not for me, and should not for you, take away from the good feelings it generates inside of us. It should not be a test as to whether or not I am going to do a good deed again.
The truth is that every good deed gets rewarded, bar none. The recipient of that reward is always you.
Wishes for a great day to all,
Hugs and love too,
David/
